Barry Man Killed in Pike County IL Crash Thursday

A Barry man is dead from injuries suffered in a single vehicle crash on Pike County Highway 2 east of New Salem at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Illinois State Police reports the driver, identified only as a 32 year old male from Barry, was westbound when his pickup ran off the road, hit a farm field entrance culvert embankment and overturned.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
