Warsaw Man Dies, Driver Charged, in Hancock County Crash

A Warsaw, Illinois man dies in a one car crash on Warsaw Road at 4:11 a.m. Monday.

The Illinois State Police reports 29 year old Joseph Krumey was northbound on County Road 32 east of County Road 650 North when he lost control on a curve.

The car ran off the road, struck a ditch with a rock ledge and overturned.
Krumey was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

His passenger, 68 year old Myron Beeler, also of Warsaw, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Krumey has been charged with reckless homicide, aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
