Clean Up The District

Volunteer to help clean up The District later this month! Here are the details you need to know...

The District is the heart of the Gem City and you can help keep it clean and beautiful as we head into fall by volunteering to "Clean Up The District" on Saturday, September 19th.

The District created a Facebook event page called Clean Up The District, and on the event page they say...

"Let’s beautify the Heart of Quincy! Join us on National Clean Up Day September 19th as we take to the streets and give our city some love...How do you join? Gather your group you’ve been social distancing with and sign them up in our Sign Up Genius link—no need to sign up individually, you’ll note how many are in your group when you register!...Come with energetic hands and hearts (and of course wear your mask!) and join us as we clean up The District!"

I am such a fan of The District in Quincy, there are so many great bars, restaurants, and shops. I take my dog Murphy on so many walks all around The District and Washington Park, and there is a good amount of cleaning that needs to happen. If you have the chance to give even an hour of your time to help clean up The District consider signing up and helping out.
