The Quincy Axe Company will be opening in December in Downtown Quincy where the former Phoneix Nightclub was (625 Maine St, Suite 102). The building itself has been empty for years and will now be a place for people to go and have fun in The District. The new Quincy Axe Company will feature axe throwing sports events for all occasions, and for ages 8 and up.
The company will be the only certified World Axe Throwing League (WATL) in the region. This allows Quincy Axe Company to host local leagues, which could lead to national opportunities for willing participants. There will be plenty of space to enjoy everything that Quincy Axe Company will offer, including coaching on axe throwing, parties, and just a place to have fun. The space is over 3000 square feet with eight lanes of axe throwing. The new owners wanted to make sure there was plenty of space to enjoy your night out.
I've seen these axe throwing businesses pop up in the bigger cities and always thought how cool it would be to throw an axe, now we have it right here in Downtown Quincy. There is no official opening date yet but you can follow Quincy Axe Company on Facebook or their website. If you say there is nothing to do in Quincy, you might want to rethink that. I can't wait to see the new axe company, this is going to be fun!
