The Adams County Health Department Monday released its COVID-19 vaccination schedule for the coming weeks.

Officials say they will offer the Pfizer vaccine to any Illinois resident 16 or older by appointment only at the Health Department from 1 to 3 p.m. the next three Tuesdays – May 4th, 11th and 18th. You can register for one of these clinics by calling 217-222-8440.

Also, the health department has scheduled additional walk-in COVID vaccine clinics for the next two weeks.

The next walk-in clinics will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the John Wood Community College cafeteria, 11:45 a.m. in the Salvation Army Thrift Store and at 2 p.m. in the Hawks Nest at Quincy University.

The walk-in clinics are open to any resident of Adams, Brown, Hancock, Pike or Schuyler counties. No pre-registration is required and the Johnson and Johnson one-dose vaccine will be used.
