A Hartsburg, Missouri woman is seriously hurt in a boating mishap on Mark Twain Lake near Stoutsville just after 3 p.m. Saturday.

The Missouri Water Patrol reports 50 year old Robert Sherman of Hartsburg was operating his motorboat with the anchor down. The boat accelerated, the anchor surfaced and struck a passenger in the boat, 56 year old Lisa Sherman, also of Hartsburg.

Lisa Sherman was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

 

A Ewing woman suffers minor injuries in a vehicle-deer crash on Highway 6 west of Taylor in Marion County at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Highway Patrol reports 62 year old Victor Raleigh of Ewing was eastbound when his SUV struck a deer in the road.

Victor Raleigh’s passenger, 59 year old Carrie Raleigh, also of Ewing, told first responders she would seek her own treatment.

 

A Hannibal woman suffers minor injuries in a two vehicle crash on Highway 154 east of Perry in Ralls County at 12:25 p.m. Saturday.

The Highway Patrol reports 22 year old Echo Brothers of Hannibal was southbound, exiting a gas station when her Jeep was struck by a westbound truck, driven by 27 year old Joey Watson of Wentzville.

Brothers was taken to Hannibal Regional for treatment.

 

A Wyaconda woman is one of two people hurt in a two car crash on Highway 136 east of Memphis in Scotland County at 2:20 p.m. Friday.

The Highway Patrol reports 69 year old Harold Snyder of Kirksville was northbound, attempting to turn onto 136 from a private drive and was struck by an eastbound car, driven by 22 year old Lacey Miller of Wyaconda.

Both Snyder and Miller were taken to Scotland County Hospital in Memphis for treatment of minor injuries.
