The Best Attractions To Take Your 4-Legged Friend With You On Vacation
Sometimes you don't want to leave your 4-legged friends at home while you go on vacation. Well, you don't have too.
I am in the middle of planning my family vacation and thinking about bringing Max with us (our pup). Now some hotels let you bring pets, but there are several out there they no pets are allowed, and we usually board him while we are gone. However, there are some great hotels in both Missouri and Illinois that not only will allow you to bring pets, they encourage it.
Illinois has become a BIG pet state, especially in adoptions coming in 7th out of 50 states in pet adoptions. So, it's no surprise that there are more pet friendly hotels popping up in the state, one in particular. The Hilton Chicago has its own "Fur Mama" program for dogs. When guest check-in to the hotel and they have a furry companion, they will receive a "bone appetite doggy bag," which is filled with dog-friendly treats. The best part, Chicago has always been a "dog city" so there are so many restaurants, parks, and outdoor activities to take your 4-legged friend with you to enjoy.
If you're headed west this summer and traveling to Kansas City with your pet, you might want to check out. There's the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park to talk a long-leisure walk with your pet. Then after working up a sweat, you can take them to the 53-acre off-leash Shawnee Mission Dog Park where they can run and swim and let loose.
So, no matter where you go, you have plenty of places to bring your pet with you and have fun!
