Changes are coming to meal delivery for Hannibal Public School students.

Officials with Douglass Community Services report that, beginning Monday, April 27th, the snack and supper portions of the meals that had been distributed at the Hannibal schools will instead by distributed at Douglass at 711 Grand Avenue.

Starting next Monday, student snacks and suppers will be available at Douglass Community Services each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. till noon and 1 till 3:30 p.m.

Douglass Executive Director Stephanie Cooper says the change is being made to minimize risk and exposure to both Douglass and school employees involved in food preparation and delivery.

The breakfast and lunch delivery schedule remains the same, with meals available at Hannibal’s five elementary schools and the middle school Monday through Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
