Quincy Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

A year-long investigation results in the arrest of a Quincy man on child pornography charges.

The investigation by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office resulted in the arrest Friday of 41 year old Jeffrey Jansen.

Jansen is charged with four counts of child pornography, unauthorized recording and the unlawful violation of an order of protection.

Jansen is lodged in the Adams County Jail on $32,500 bond.
