Quincy City County Okays Loan to Quincy Transit

The Quincy City County Monday night agree to loan $200,000 to Quincy Transit Lines to cover operating expenses through the end of the year.

This is the city’s third loan to Quincy Transit since September, totaling $1.7-million dollars.

The city is waiting on about $1.1-million dollars in CARES federal grant money, which has yet to be released by the Illinois Comptroller’s Office.
