A $1.4 million dollar contract was awarded for work on Payson Avenue.

Another $1.4 million dollars will fund reconstruction projects on Harrison, South 8th, Van Buren, and South 9th.

The council also approved the establishment of the Two Rivers Land Bank, enabling the city to purchase properties from the county tax sale list for renovation.
