Rain + Fiona the Hippo = is the best video you watch today.

There is one thing that was good with all the rain we've received these last few days, Fiona the hippo catching raindrops for fun. In a video posted to social media, it shows Fiona opening wide trying to catch the rain drops for the storm that rolled through this week.

Fiona is famous on social media for interacting with her handlers at the Cincinnati Zo and the guest that come see her. This is not the first video I've seen with her just living her best life, she even has her own YouTube Channel you can follow her at. She was born at the Cincinnati Zoo on January 24, 2017 and has been a big part of the zoo. Fiona is an extra special hippo for being the first Nile hippo to be born at the Cincinnati Zoo in 75 years, so she does get some extra love from everyone who is around her.

Another video I found as I dove deep into the Fiona hippo videos is one of her celebrating her first birthday with a HUGE fruit cake. I just want to give her the biggest hug.

My family and I love to go and see animals at zoos of cities we visit, and we might have to add the Cincinnati Zoo to the list. If you have visited this zoo and have seen Fiona (who was named after the character in Shrek because of her ears) I would love to see them. Send them to me through the station app.
