Illinois’ Morgan County Fair Books a Country Music Star Headliner

Cody Johnson was scheduled to play BUT when he cancelled the Morgan County Fair in Illinois stepped up to replace him with a big time country music star!

According to the Morgan County Fair's Facebook page they have replaced country music star Cody Johnson, who had to cancel shows due to his doctors orders for vocal rest, with another massive country music star Kip Moore!

The Morgan County Fair has announced that Kip Moore will headline in Cody Johnson's former spot on Friday, July 9th at the fair grounds in Jacksonville, Illinois just a little over an hour from Quincy. Kip Moore's opening act will be Casey Donahew, and that's not all because the Morgan County Fair also has a massive country artist headlining Saturday night on July 10th, Scotty McCreery headlines that night with special guest Mitchell Tenpenny! Honestly it is just so great to have county fair season back, this is what we missed so badly last year while we were all social distancing during the pandemic. Take advantage of all of these big named country music stars coming into our area, Jacksonville is not a far drive at all, make a whole weekend trip out of it enjoying the fair and hop on over to Springfield, Illinois even while you are in that neck of the woods!
