Hannibal Mother Saved Thanks to Children’s 911 Call
Thanks to the quick thinking of her two children, Laura Copeland has an amazing story to share.
At 8:30 on Monday, the Hannibal Police Department was called to the 2300 block of Fulton to assist Marion County EMS with a medical Call.
Finding their mother in a medical emergency, Laura's children, Mitchell (6) and Cora (7) called 911. The children, who are legally blind, attempted CPR and provided vital information to the first responders. It was later revealed that Laura had had a seizure.
Laura was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital by EMS. The Hannibal officers gave the young heroes a tour of their patrol vehicle (pictured).
