Gerber is Looking for a Spokesbaby! Here’s How to Apply

Does your baby have a winning smile? If so, maybe your baby is the next Gerber spokesmodel—though the actual ability to speak is not a qualification. An infectious smile, chubby cheeks, and the ability to elicit an “awwwww!” is what your little one needs to become the next Gerber baby.

Gerber has announced it is accepting applications now for the 2021 PhotoSearch Winner and Spokesbaby. You have until May 10 to apply here on the Gerber website.

This is the 11^th year for the Gerber Baby Search. The winner will be crowned the company’s first-ever CGO, Chief Growing Officer.

According to Gerber, the qualifications include:

• Infectious giggle
• Ability to warm hearts
• Passion for being the center of attention
• Between the ages of 0 and 48 months
• Demonstrate a shining personality and expressiveness

The top prize is $25,000, which will make a nice little nest egg for a college fund. The winning baby will also be featured on Gerber's social media channels and marketing campaigns throughout the year, and as you might expect, a selection of Gerber products.

The original Gerber baby, Ann Turner Cook, celebrated her 94^th birthday last year. Her parents entered her in the contest in 1928 and her face was synonymous with the picture-perfect baby for decades. The revised version of the contest started just 11 years ago. Even so, it’s Ann’s face you’ll always see when you think of the Gerber baby. As a mom, it seems the highest compliment you can receive is when someone tells you your child looks just like the Gerber baby.
