I’m a native of Swinkey, Missouri, a thriving suburb of Monroe City. After earning a degree in Mass Communication from Truman State University, I joined the team at KHQA-TV as an intern. In my 22 years there I worked as a reporter, Hannibal Bureaus Chief, 10:00 pm anchor, and co-host of the morning show. In 2016, Y101 lured me out of retirement and I'm loving starting my mornings with the Big Dog! Jeff broadcasts live from Quincy while I'm live in our Hannibal studios. It gives our show a different perspective you won't find anywhere else. My husband Rich and I have four daughters; two in college, one in high school and one in elementary school. I'm a voracious reader. In fact the only TV show I'll put a book down for is Survivor. I've never missed an episode in 30-plus seasons!
