Money From Gen’l Mills Boosts United Way COVID-19 Relief

A seven thousand dollar gift from General Mills boosts the United Way of the Mark Twain Area’s COVID-19 response fund. That fund is to assist local non-profits in funding programs created…changed or with increasing demand due to the virus. Dollars will prioritize to needs of United Way agencies.

However, organizations in Lewis, Marion, Monroe, Ralls and Shelby Counties that are not United Way agencies can apply for grant funding as well. The fund supports Senior Meal Support bags distributed through area senior centers and Meals on Wheels.
