Try not to laugh as you read this, but warmer than normal temperatures have been predicted by the weather experts for both Missouri and Illinois. Let's hope they're correct.

The forecasters that are saying this really are experts. They are the NOAA Climate Prediction Center. They recently issued their prediction for temperature and precipitation for the United States between now and April. It looks promising.

I have been guilty of referring to these admittedly much smarter than me people (EDITOR'S NOTE: by definition this means "everyone") as "weather guessers". Truth is they are as close as we get when it comes to peering into the weather future to see what's headed this way. Now, let's hope they're correct and we're all wearing tank tops by April. Or, at least some of us.
