A collision Tuesday morning between a car and a train near Curryville injures the driver.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car driven by a 17 year old juvenile female from Curryville was northbound on Pike County Road 459 when she drove into the path of a westbound Kansas City Southern freight train.

Troopers say the 17 year old was taken to Columbia Regional Health Center by survival flight helicopter for treatment of serious injuries.
