Pike County Illinois Meth Arrest
A traffic stop shortly after midnight Monday on Hamilton Street in Barry results in three arrests.
Pike County Sheriff David Greenwood says 34 year old Ashley Clayton of Louisiana Missouri and 44 year old John Mayfield of Monroe City were taken to the Pike County Jail in Pittsfield. Clayton is charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, retail theft, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Mayfield is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Deputies say the driver, 28 year old Danielle Slavin of Hannibal, is charged with driving with a suspended license and no rear registration light. Illinois State Police assisted with the traffic stop. Sheriff Greenwood says additional charges are pending.
