Two Quincy men are arrested on theft charges early Tuesday morning.

Quincy Police located 32 year old Joseph Hardy and 30 year old Austin Willard in an alley in the 7th and Spring area just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle.

Hardy and Willard both fled the area on foot. Hardy was apprehended immediately. QPD officers and Adams County deputies searched the area and found Willard hiding nearby.

Hardy and Willard are charged with theft over $500 and lodged in the Adams County Jail.
