According to the Missouri's Best 2022 Awards a Mexican restaurant called Veracruz Jr. in Stover, Missouri is the best Mexican restaurant in the state.

According to Wikipedia.org, Stover, MO is a town of just over 1,000 people and is located in the dead center of the state, on Wikipedia they say...

"Stover is located in western Morgan County at the intersection of Missouri routes 52 and 135. Versailles is approximately seven miles to the east and Cole Camp is about eleven miles to the west in adjacent Benton County."

So what is it about Veracruz Jr. that makes it the top in the state? Well, the Missouri's Best Awards don't give any sort of reason why they were voted best. But if you go to Veracruz Jr's menu they have incredible-sounding items like Fajita Nachos, the Grande Veracruz Burrito, and specials like the Super Chimichanga, and the Taquitos Mexicanos. Check out the website for Veracruz Jr. by clicking here!

I have ZERO doubt that the best Mexican restaurant in Missouri is Veracruz Jr. in Stover, Missouri. Big cities like St. Louis and Kansas City have fancy Mexican restaurants and that's great but the best places to eat are always these small hole in the wall places in the middle of nowhere, and that's what Veracruz Jr. looks like. Anyone want to road trip with me to Stover, Missouri?
