No more appointments needed as the Quincy Public Library will reopen soon!

One of the hardest parts about the past 9 months for businesses as people alike is the constant opening, and closing of services. It has been hard to stay on top of what is open in which state, and what is closed in which city, or who requires what for you to use their service. Well hopefully as the COVID-19 Vaccination rollout continues we will be out of that cycle of opening and closing, and places like the Quincy Public Library can just be open as they announced yesterday.

The Quincy Public Library announced on their Facebook page that they will be open with no appointments necessary starting February 1st! In the post they say...

"We have some exciting news! We will be reopening on Feb. 1! Hours will be Monday-Thursday from 9 am to 8 pm, and Friday-Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. Advance appointments will no longer be required for computers or research, though still highly encouraged for notary services. Patrons are required to wear masks and maintain social distancing when visiting the library."

I really hope that this is the final time we will have to be making announcements about doors opening and closing for all of these important and great local institutions in the Tri-States. So many people are working hard to make sure that we as a community can defeat this coronavirus and put it behind us once and for all!
