Working a Summer job as a high school kid is like a right of passage, you get to learn what it's like to work for a living, all while filling up your pockets with spending cash to use to have fun all summer long. There are some classic summer jobs for high schoolers like life guard, movie theater worker, lawn care, but I think I found the job that would be the one I would have wanted as a 16 year old kid. Working for the Quincy Gems!

The Quincy Gems are hiring for their upcoming season, as baseball returns to the Tri-States with fans allowed in the stands the Gems are hiring a couple different Summer Job positions. On their website (to see the job postings click here!) it says they are hiring right now for concession stand workers, concession stand cooks, and a Stadium Operations lead. You must be 16 years or older to apply, and if you're interested click here!

I really wish there was a baseball team in the town I grew up to work for as a high schooler! Spending night after night at the ball park sounds like the perfect way to spend a summer earning some money. I don't think I'd be much of a cook to be honest but even that sounds more fun then the furniture moving job I had in the summers during high school! What was your first high school job?
