Monroe City Man Charged in Hannibal Shooting

A Monroe City man has been charged in connection with a shooting incident in Hannibal last Sunday.

Hannibal Police report the charging Wednesday of 32 year old Eric Pulsifer, formerly of Hannibal, with second degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Pulsifer is alleged to have been involved in a shooting in the 2500 block of Broadway late Sunday night.

The shooting victim, 29 year old Justin Sims of Hannibal, was hospitalized for treatment.

Pulsifer was taken into custody Tuesday. He remains in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 cash only bond.
