A Mexico, Missouri man was arrested by Hannibal Police Friday on meth related charges.

An investigation by HPD’s Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad into the distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine led to the execution of a search warrant Friday by the Hannibal Special Response Team in the 1800 block of Chestnut.

The search revealed a substantial amount of a substance believed to be meth.
32 year old Jordan Dorsey of Mexico was taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Dorsey was charged Saturday with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, along with a municipal warrant.

The search by police also recovered a firearm that had been stolen from the St. Louis area. The investigation into the theft of the weapon continues, with additional charges possible.
