Mexico Missouri Man Arrested

A disturbance report Saturday in Hannibal results in the arrest of a Mexico Missouri man on several charges.

Hannibal Police were called to the 500 block of Mark Twain Avenue at 4:47 Saturday afternoon.  Police say 17 year old Kayveon Dorsey fired a hand gun at a female and missed. The police report says the bullet struck the rear bumper of a passing vehicle. Police say a firearm was recovered following a search of Dorsey’s hotel room.

A warrant issued Sunday by the Marion County Circuit Court charges Dorsey with domestic assault… unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. Dorsey is held in the Marion County Jail on 100-thousand dollars cash only bond.
