US 36 Fatal Crash

A Shelbina woman is dead following a collision between a semi and her car on US 36 east of Shinn Lane early Sunday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says  a truck driven by 36 year old Jason Johnson of Hampshire Illinois crossed the median and drove into the path of a car driven by 75 year old Cecelia Kendrick of Shelbina at 12:49 Sunday afternoon.

Troopers say Kendrick was pronounced dead at the scene by Marion County Coroner Rick Jones.
