Live Music Coming This Weekend To Hannibal

Down By The River is back in Hannibal for what amounts to its debut for the 2020 season. COVID-19 and bad weather wreaked havoc with the Y MENS Club schedule, but it looks like smooth sailing for this Friday, July 17.

Hannibal band Steve Paquet and the Heavy Implants take the stage Friday at the downtown Y MENS Pavilion. The gates open at 5 p.m. and the venue closes at 10 p.m.

Typically, the Hannibal Y MENS Club hosts Down By The River every third Friday of the month throughout the summer. The group delayed the 2020 season because of the quarantine order. Last month, the Eric McKay Band was all prepared to take the stage when a wicked storm blew through Hannibal. The pavilion area flooded and the winds damaged the tents so badly they had to be replaced.

The last scheduled DBTR is August 21, featuring Madd Hoss Jackson.
