Lewis County Burglaries Under Investigation

An investigation is underway into a number of burglaries in Lewis County.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office reports the burglaries took place in the Deer Ridge and Williamstown areas from Thursday through Monday.

The suspects are entering outbuildings, making off with a number of items, including various tools, welders, an air compressor and a generator.

The Lewis County Sheriff reminds citizens to lock all outbuildings and vehicles.
