A website has named Quincy of the the BEST places in Illinois to visit, where does it rank on the list?

Yesterday I found this article from vacationidea.com about the "25 Best Places to Visit in Missouri" and wasn't shocked at all to see our own little Hannibal make the list ranking in at number 10 on the list, I wrote up an article talking all about it, you can see it by clicking here! So I was curious to dig around this website to see if there was a list for Illinois, and if there was, did Quincy make the list? Well it turns out there is, and Quincy did make the list!

In the article titled "25 Best Places to Visit in Illinois" from vacationidea.com Quincy comes in extremely high on the list ranking in at 7th place, behind some seriously great Illinois towns like Chicago, Springfield, Galena, Evanston, and others. They ranked Quincy ahead of some other really fun places in Illinois to visit like Starved Rock State Park, Lincoln's Tomb, and Peoria to name a few. When they talked about why Quincy was a great place to visit they said...

"...Dogwood-lined streets and fine architecture, much of it in traditional German style, make this city a lovely place to visit. Quincy has a rich history; it was a safe haven for Mormons leaving behind the persecution they faced in the eastern states and was a major stopping point on the Underground Railway, which helped African American people flee the south and slavery..."

So what do you think, does Quincy deserve to be that high on the list? Or are you shocked Quincy made the list at all?
