Hy-Vee Stores To Hand Out Face Masks

Starting on Monday, both Hy-Vee stores in Quincy will be kicking off a new initiative called “Mask It Up to Shut COVID Down. It’s Your Choice.”

Hy-Vee employees will be at each entrance handing out free face masks to customers who don't have one. This initiative it to help keep other customers and staff safe when shopping at Hy-Vee stores. All employees have been wearing mask since the beginning of the pandemic.

There will also be signage, employee attire, and other reminders around the store about the educational campaign. The company, in total, will be handing out over 3 million mask to their customers.
