HPD says they have gotten an increasing amount of complaints of the operation of all-terrain vehicles known as side by sides in the city limits.

You are reminded that it is against city ordinance and state law to operate side by sides on roadways and public property.

Police say side by sides pose a serious danger to the public and the riders themselves, along with damaging the land on which they travel.

HPD says anyone caught operating a side by side in the city limits will be subject to enforcement action by Hannibal Police.
