Hannibal Police Make Arrest in Hannibal Inn Burglary

An arrest has been made in connection with an alleged burglary at the Hannibal Inn.

Hannibal Police were called to 4141 Market on a report of a burglary at 6:42 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived, they were told a male subject was attempting to steal items and had locked himself in a small room.

The male, identified only as someone with ties to the Hannibal and Quincy areas was taken into custody without incident and is in the Marion County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending the issuing of a warrant.
