Hannibal Police report officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the area of 30th and Market just before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The initial investigation indicated the male subject involved in the disturbance, 51 year old Chester Rickey, had an outstanding municipal warrant.

While attempting to take Rickey into custody, he allegedly resisted arrest.

A search of the area led to the discovery of a container which contained substances believed to be marijuana wax, methamphetamine and LSD.

Warrants were issued Wednesday, charging Rickey with three counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Rickey is in the Marion County Jail on $25,000 bond.
