All the Hannibal Cavemen runs were unearned Sunday night as they knocked off the Chillicothe Paints 5-2 in an inter-divisional match-up at Clemens Field.

Chillicothe scored first with a run in the second. The Cavemen came back with two of their own in the bottom of the inning. Catcher David Hayes led off by reaching on an error. He scored on a double by third basemen Brett Marr. Marr scored on a two-out double by first baseman Josh Griffith.

Hannibal added two more in the third as second baseman Sam Griggs reached on an error, advanced on a single by right fielder Emilio Lollio and scored on a ground out by Hayes. Lollio scored on a single by designated hitter Troy Wehde.

The Cavemen added one more in the seventh on a walk, a throwing error and a wild pitch.

Jake Eikleberry won for the sixth time this season for Hannibal.
