Five Hannibal residents, three of them children, are injured in a two vehicle crash on Highway 61 at Route FF south of New London at 9:16 p.m. Sunday.

The Highway Patrol reports 25-year-old Hiep Le of Hannibal was eastbound, failed to yield and was struck by a northbound van driven by 34-year-old Maranda Jameson also of Hannibal.

Le and his passenger, 23-year-old Richard-James Benavente of Hannibal, were taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.

Jameson’s passengers all suffered injuries. 1-year-old Ethan Elliott of Hannibal and 12-year-old Edward Jameson were taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy with moderate injuries. A third passenger, 10-year-old Payten Jameson was taken by Survival Flight to St. Louis Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.
