Patrick Mahomes has done a lot for the Show-Me State. Playing in the Big Game twice, and back-to-back-to-back AFC Championship Games, but the other important thing that he's brought to the state of Missouri is Whataburger. the Texas-based company (where Mahomes is from) has started to migrate to Missouri and Mahomes is a big part of making that happen.

Now five more Whataburger Restaurants are coming to the state with one reported coming to Republic, one in the Ozarks, and three in Springfield, Missouri. Ozark First stated,

Several potential locations have been announced, including one in Republic and one in Ozark. In recent days, Whataburger has also submitted plans for three sites in Springfield.

I have never had a Whataburger but have seen the long lines in Kansas City for people waiting hours to get one, I mean are they that good? You would think that St. Louis would be part of the talks in bringing the fast-food chain and maybe it is just not at this moment. Whatever the case, I might have to get in line and wait (some people have reported waiting over an hour to get a Whataburger) and see for myself if it's worth all the hype or not.
