79 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported by health department officials in northeast Missouri Thursday.

The Marion County Health Department reported 30 new cases Thursday, bringing their case total to 1,648, with 293 active, 17 hospitalized, 1,333 recovered and 19 deaths.

In Lewis County, officials reported 26 new coronavirus cases Wednesday and Thursday.

The Lewis County case total goes to 526, with 78 active, 441 recovered and seven deaths.

The Shelby County Health Department reports 15 new COVID cases since Tuesday. There have been 246 cases in Shelby County, with 54 active, three hospitalized and one death.

In Clark County, officials report eight new positive coronavirus cases and one additional death.

There have been 407 COVID cases in Clark County, with 79 active, one hospitalized, 315 recovered and 12 deaths.
