
20 Year Sentence for Attempted First Degree Murder
20 years is the sentence for a Chicago man who entered a guilty plea to attempted first degree murder charges in Adams County.
26-year-old Tracy Malone of Chicago entered the plea to charges relating to a stabbing at 628 Lind in Quincy on February 9 2015. Malone was charged after authorities say he stabbed his 23-year-old girlfriend 34 times with a steak knife.
Malone also must pay over $96,000 in fees and restitution.
