Health department officials reported 96 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and one additional COVID related death in northeast Missouri Tuesday.

The Shelby County Health Department reported 42 new cases since last Wednesday, along with the county’s second coronavirus related death.

The Shelby County case total is now 340, with 55 active and three hospitalized.

There were 38 new COVID cases reported in Marion County Tuesday, bringing their total to 1,953, with 261 active, 17 hospitalized and 23 deaths.

The Lewis County Health Department reported eleven new coronavirus cases Tuesday.

Their total cases grow to 595, with 43 active, 542 recovered and ten deaths.

In Clark County, officials report five new COVID cases, running their case total to 474, with 23 active, one hospitalized, 430 recovered and 20 deaths.

 

Along with Adams County’s 63 new cases, there were another 34 additional cases of COVID-19 reported in western Illinois Tuesday.

The Pike County Health Department reported 18 new coronavirus cases Tuesday. Their case total is now 955, with 130 active, 20 hospitalized and 26 deaths.

In Hancock County, officials reported eight new COVID cases. There have now been 964 positive cases in Hancock County, with 256 isolated, eight hospitalized and 17 deaths.

The Brown County Health Department also reported eight new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing their case total to 330, with 78 active and five deaths.
