We all have things in our lives that week geek out over, maybe its comic books, movies, space, knitting, whatever! But for me the one thing I love to geek out over is USA Men's basketball, I have been fascinated with the men's team ever since I was a kid and learned about the Dream team. I think the reason I like it so much is that it is like building a fantasy team, you get to pick the best players and mix them all up from different teams to battle against the rest of the world. And the 2020 (2021) USA Men's Olympic basketball team is very good, and the reason I think they will win gold is because of the two guys on the team from Missouri.

Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics and Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards are two of the best scores in the world, they are both born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and they are both getting a chance to shine on this team USA roster in Tokyo this summer. If it were up to me I would put Jayson Tatum in the starting 5 lineup with Kevin Durant, Bam Adebayo, Damian Lillard, and Devin Booker. Tatum will be key in this lineup to play the small forward position while KD plays the stretch 4, Tatum would be asked to guard the opposing teams best player for the most part too. Meanwhile Bradley Beal would be my scorer off the bench, almost like a 6th man, with him and Zach Lavine doing the brunt of the scoring in the second unit.

The world is slowly catching up to the USA in basketball, there are great international players like Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Rudy Gobert, and countless others, BUT team USA should go undefeated through this 2020 (2021) Olympics in Tokyo IF Tatum and Beal play up to their potential.
