Tom and Becky 2021-22 Semi-Finalists Named

Two dozen Hannibal seventh-graders are one step closer to becoming the community’s resident good will ambassadors.

The Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum announced Saturday the semi-finalists in the 2021-22 Tom and Becky Program.

The 12 boys and 12 girls will next be taking a test on their knowledge of Mark Twain, Hannibal history and tourism, along with being interviewed by a panel of judges.

The Tom and Becky finalists will be announced April 25th, with the city’s official Tom and Becky revealed on July 4th.

The Becky semi-finalists include Avril Collier, Elyse Rapp, Kasey DeStefane, Carly Golian, Lucy Gossett, Joely Greenwell, Anna Hall, Kyla Jacobsen, Julia Lee, Arianna Speer, Greta Welch and Alaynah Wood.

The Tom semi-finalists are Jay Arnold, Bennett Baumgardner, Noah Brown, Evan Dalton, Leighton Hudson, Jaxon Lay, Chace Massie, Peyton Pritchett, Joshua Smith, Gavin Tymchek, James Wetton and Chase Youngwirth.
