The last time a cast of mainly child actors led a full in person production at Quincy Community Theatre was Frozen Jr. back in January of 2020. Here we are in September of 2021 and tickets have finally gone on sale for Quincy Community Theatre's next children's production, Junie B. Jones is Not A Crook.

The show according to 1qct.org opens on Friday, October 1st and has show dates on the 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, and 10th of October. On the website Quincy Community Theatre describes the play Junie B. Jones is Not A Crook as...

"Kindergarten isn’t easy, especially when you’re Junie B. Jones! First, a stealer stole Junie B.’s new furry mittens. Then, there’s the handsomest new boy at school who thinks she’s a nutball. And don’t even get her started on Meanie Jim! Can Junie B. find the crook, fix her friendships, stand up to a bully, and still be her lovable, nutball self?"

This will be can't miss family fun entertainment, also a really affordable night out of theatre. If you think your kids would be interested in ever doing theatre, I highly recommend taking them to see a production. When kids see other kids their own age performing on stage in costumes, saying lines, getting laughs, and applause, it will certainly peak their interest!
