Sometimes I read a story and wish that I was Batman so I could put on my cape and go right a wrong. This is one of those types of stories. A thief stole a go-kart from a 7-year-old Illinois boy and we need to help catch the bad guys and get his gear back.

I saw this story shared by Fox 32 out of Chicago. It's the story of Grayson Dean who is a very talented young racer. Someone stole the hauler including his go-kart.

I reached out to Grayson's family and they agreed to allow me to share their plea on Facebook for someone to come forward and help them get his racer back.

In case you're having a hard time reading that on your device, I'll repeat what the family requested in the Facebook post:

The trailer has Grayson Dean Racing on the back. It’s grey and navy blue. It’s a 33 feet long Forest River Grey Wolf. If anyone has any information please DM us or contact the Lake In the Hills Police Officer Berens at 847-658-5676.

At this point, we can't rule out that the stolen hauler could have headed in our direction in west-central Illinois or northeast Missouri. You can also reach out to the Lake in the Hills Police Department through their official website if you have information to help right this wrong for a little Illinois boy.
