There is one man in the state of Illinois that is more important than any other man in the whole state, he is only 22 years old, and at noon on Saturday he makes his triumphant debut.

If you were expecting me to talk to you about some genius tech wiz kid who is about to unveil something that rivals the iPhone, or maybe some young college kid who is about to go on the next trip to space with Elon Musk, well sorry to disappoint you BUT I'm talking about the REAL most important person in the state of Illinois, Chicago Bears Quarterback Justin Fields.

The Chicago Bears start their 2021-2022 season on Saturday in Chicago hosting the Miami Dolphins. And at noon when the Bears take to the grass in Soldier Field they will have the eyes of the football world watching them for one player only, rookie Quarterback Justin Fields. Fields is the Ohio State stud who the Bears drafted in the first round of this years draft, who has the talent and the upside to possibly be the first all time great Chicago Bears QB since before JFK was president. Fields will not likely start the game under center, I assume veteran QB Andy Dalton will get the first series or two with the other starters, but when Fields takes control of the offense Bears fans will get their first taste of what the future could be like.

I have been a Chicago Bears fan my whole life, they are my favorite team in the whole world, and I want nothing more than to see them win a Super Bowl. I truly believe that Fields has the skill set to be a special QB in the NFL for a long time, someone who has Hall of Fame, MVP, Super Bowl Champion type talent, but he has a couple things going against him, he is an Ohio State Quarterback, sadly they have never performed great at the NFL level despite loads of college success. And lastly he is a Chicago Bear, as sad as it is for me, it's true that the Chicago Bears seem cursed at the QB position, BUT all the more reason why if Fields can break through and be great, he really will become the most important person in the state of Illinois, and quite possibly the NFL. No pressure Justin...

We are all rooting for you,

Sincerely,

Bears Fans everywhere.
