If you pass by Upper Moorman park you will see the start of what I am sure will be another great season for the Festival of Lights.

Another season of magic and beauty can be discovered at this year's Festival of Lights. Workers and volunteers have started setting up the massive light display that takes over Upper Moorman park starting Thanksgiving night and through the new year. Every year the display adds something new to keep the magic of the lights growing each year, and this year it looks like we make see more trees in the park decorated with lights.

Once again, we will be teaming up with State Farm Agent - Derek Zahm, to help collect toys for the upcoming toys for Tots/Salvation Army Toy Drive. Once that date has been announced we will let you know so that you can help donate this year. I know last year all of us involved were taken back as to how many visitors donated one or even more toys for the cause, it was very humbling to experience.

There is something to look forward to this holiday season and I don't know about you but I can't wait. The display last year was amazing and I can't wait to see it this year. Follow the Festival of Lights on their Facebook page for the latest information.
