The Biggest Waterpark in Illinois will open for the season soon

Summer weather will be here soon in the Land of Lincoln and that means we will all be heading to Raging Waves the state's Largest Waterpark to cool off!

According to an article from nbcchicago.com, Ragin Waves, which is the largest water park in Illinois, will reopen and start the 2022 season on May 28th. Raging Waves is located in Yorkville, Illinois which is about 55 miles directly west of Chicago, and in the article they say...

"The largest waterpark in Illinois sits on 58 acres replete with 32 waterslides, a lazy river, a wave pool and more for guests to explore"

Raging Waves is absolutely massive check out this YouTube video below of the Raging Waves waterpark.

I mean who doesn't want to go there after seeing that?!? The YouTube video which was posted a couple of years ago on the channel TUBERIDES says this in the description...

"The park sports an Australian theme that can be seen in the design of the park as well as the names of the rides which are based on Australian animals or sights. Raging Waves is home to a large portfolio of ProSlide slides, including a huge Tornado funnel as well as a TornadoWave."

Waterparks are just a ton of fun, and I have to be honest I love outdoor water parks wayyyy more than indoor waterparks, there is something about being indoors that makes the whole experience less fun than being out in the sun trying to not get sunburned all day and avoiding hot metal railings.
