Trail cams

I would have never guessed there would be any chance that someone in Missouri could mistake a mountain lion for a red fox, but after watching a recent share from a trail cam, I'm a believer.

Stop me if you've heard me say this before, but something strange was just spotted in Illinois. A webcam in one of the forested areas of Illinois just captured video of an unidentified creature that the internet is having a hard time figuring out.

Do you know when your eyes are deceiving you? I ask this because there really is a Missouri trail cam that appears to show a velociraptor dinosaur (yes, like the ones in Jurassic Park). But, there's more than just what your eyes see going on here.

I have to wonder if this Missouri black bear was in the mood for love or if it was purely by accident that he casually strolled by a proposal tree as captured on video by a trail camera.

It's not often you get to see a wolves close up. Thanks to a Midwest trail cam, you can see a large wolf pack with video that shows them crossing a frozen lake.

I will admit that I'm not really asking a question because I know the answer already. Or, at least I think I do. The internet is still arguing over whether a Missouri trail cam shows a wolf or a coyote. You can watch the video and come to your own conclusion.

It appears there's a bear in southern Missouri that is seeking his 15 minutes of fame. He recently made an appearance on several trail cams and is not camera shy whatsoever.

I've had people tell me that mountain lions aren't really that common in Missouri and Illinois at least near the bigger cities. That's funny because a brand new trail cam video shows a massive mountain lion that's just been spotted near Columbia, Missouri.

We're seeing a definite uptick of bears making appearances on Missouri trail cams as the population continues to increase across the state. There have none as fun as the time when a Missouri trail cam showed a bear who seems to think he was Bigfoot.

When I think of armadillos, I immediately think of Texas. Maybe I should reconsider as a recent trail cam video in Missouri shows these armored critters are becoming more common in the Show Me State now.
