A few months ago, Farmer's Almanac predicted a dire winter event near the end of January for Illinois. Now that we're much closer to that date, what do they have to say now? It appears they've double-down on a big snow in the Land of Lincoln within the next couple of weeks.
If you've lived in Missouri long enough, you understand that winter storms and systems can be very unpredictable including when they're just a couple of days away. Be aware that one computer model is showing that the next winter storm could impact Missouri in a big way within one week.

This isn't the typical path for a winter storm in the first month of the year, but it does appear that a rare kind of winter storm will cause problems for at least part if not all of Missouri this Friday.
